Music makes life sweeter isnt it? So lets talk about your favorite music of 2010… for me like in movies Ishqiya rocked in music too… I love all the tracks or the movie and many many days they have been playing on loop in this part of the town 🙂
Love love all of them whether its the softness and the love in Dil tou bacha hai ji
or the very folky very peppy Ibn-E-Batuta
or the one that displays the sheer magic of rekha bhardwaj… Badi Dheere Jali
Every song of ishiqya is a masterpiece
The other song that I loved in this year was Gal Mitthi Mithie Bol from the movie I hated Aisha, I cant wait for my cousin’s wedding in Feb where I will be dancing away to it 🙂

I loved Ab mujhe koi intezaar by Rekha… that woman’s voice, and those lyrics.

Aakrosh – Saudebaazi. I think the music was very reminiscent of an older style, and the lyrics were quite well written.
Was Karthik Calling Karthik from 2010? I loved Hey Ya and Uff teri adaaa
Sajnaa (Sung by Mika) – from Lamhaa… again music, and the lyrics too. Mika, irrespective of the atrocious public image, can really hit the right notes always when he sings!!!

Hmmm agree on Dil Toh Bachcha Hai… also loved Dabang’s Tere mast mast.. though I haven’t watched the film (and don’t intend to either). Then there’s Ektara – Wake up Sid, Behati Hawa sa Tha woh – Three Idiots.. love its lyrics.

I loved Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji too, and Gal Meethi Meethi. Aside, in 2010, I also loved Naach from Karthik Calling Karthik and Tu Na Jaane Aaspass Hai Khuda. Also Ranjha Ranjha from Raavan and Pee Loon.
