Get out of the house and stay out.That is what works for me when I need to stay away from food. I usually do that if I fast. It keeps your mind diverted.
1 day is allowed Monika….and its natural if u have been keeping away from ur comfort foods…try keeping a day where u eat sinful, just a bit though 🙂
oh, if its depression tension, maybe you need to eat something that makes you happy to counterbalance the unhappiness of eating too much! hehe, im evil…. like that…
i ditto GM…i too eat less if i’m out of the house..i was much slimmer in delhi because i was in and out of home, all the while……but here in singapore, its been a diff story…
Just eat no sugar or fat. Eat walnuts, almonds, watermelon, papaya, guava, pop corn (without butter, and not caramelized), keep chat masala around add to cucumber and eat… eat low cal ice cream….drink numbu paani without sugar.
I agree with the comment above. Eating nuts does help a lot. And in case you still get the craving, just go out (window shopping?)and have a long walk with friends/hubby…
Stuff yourself on chocolate pastry and cheese quiche until you feel sick. Then you can throw it all up comfortably, and never go near it for a week atleast ;-))) And yeah, try oranges if you like.

Monika this is stress and boredom related eating. Keep busy. It will help get your mind off food

You know… one sunday when i m home… my wife goes mad… she tells me if you brothers stay home whole week our ration costs will treble…
staying at home and avoiding eating is most difficult… if you find a solution do let me know !
