Dear Journo,
We understand you work in tight deadlines, but when you want a interview consider giving a notice more than 10 mins?
We really don’t want to be telling you something we shouldn’t 😉

Maybe that is what some of the journos want.. to be told , what they shouldn’t be told

Well, I am on the other side of the fence. I’ve been a journo for almost three years and I’ve just given my papers. I have done more than 50 interviews and would always make it a point to call and ask for an interview two days before. There were times when people cancelled interviews wo notification. But, I agree with you since parties must strive to maintain a healthy and professional relationship:)

I have been on the other side of the fence, too. People have made me wait endlessly for an interview, cancelled without notice, too. A lot of people also need training in their media manners, just as much as a lot of journos need training in people manners. 🙂
